march has been a busy and very exciting month here at Ladybird Likes HQ, and april looks set to be even busier and even more exciting! I can't wait! I thought I'd take a moment though to look back at some of my instagram photos from the last month.... (all descriptions are written clockwise from top left)

we were delighted to be invited to sell at the first UK Etsy x West Elm pop up shop // my favourite part of spring is when the trees are full of blossom - I walk past this one every day on my way to the post office // shooting the first ever Ladybird Likes video with my oh so talented other half // I found this in a box of treasures I'd forgotten about and shared a little bit about how Ladybird Likes came into existence!

 making a conscious effort to get more of my instagram photos printed out - loving these super cute photo strips // I finally visited the classic car boot on the Southbank and had the best time eyeing up all the vintage goodies // buying a whole tray of succulents to be used in an upcoming workshop // finally learning to crochet granny squares - I can't wait to start making a blanket!

 visited my first car boot sale of the season and picked up some great finds including this beautifully illustrated record // making samples for some new workshops I'll be offering up - so in love with this braided beaded necklace // making new crafty friends who want to do handmade swaps with you is the best - I got this amazing ladybird brooch from Luna on the Moon // celebrating one whole year with this boy - he bought me instagram marshmallows!

i seem to be saying this a lot lately but, it's been a while since i last did one of these posts. i'm loving having my blogging mojo back though, and i have loads of ideas for blog posts jotted down in my diary. one day i will share photos of my planning process - i am SO super OCD about things like that, but i thought it might be interesting to show you guys how i keep organised?

my ma and pa went on holiday to Italy and bought me some Marc Jacobs perfume back (so spoilt) // the pupster loves sitting on a chair at the table like a human // first ice cream van of the season - mr whippy ice cream oyster with a flake NOM // my favourite part of these lighter evenings is the incredible sunsets

I've decided to officially make my 'i heart iphone photos' posts a fortnightly feature here on Ladybird Likes. I take so many iphone photos of my life, and thought it would be a good way of reminding myself what I've been up to every so often. The majority of these will have been on instagram, so apologies if you've seen them all before! Here's what I've been doing over the last couple of weeks... (clockwise from top left)

What have you all been up to lately? I feel so out of the twitter/blogging loop and I hate it. I hate feeling like I want people to read my blog and follow me, when I have so little time to comment back and read other people's blogs. I'm working really hard on making more time in my day for this, so thank you for bearing with me!

Oh it has been too long dear blog readers - I had such a busy December, and then my card reader broke so I haven't been able to upload any photos. But fear not, I have a new card reader, plus lots of ideas for my little blog in 2012.... including a fun giveaway coming up next week! For now though I wanted to share some of my iphone photos from the last few months - I know it's not the most exciting post ever, but I love that phone pictures tend to give a really good glimpse into people's day to day lives.... From now on my iphone pics won't be taken with the Shake It app - I've finally taken the plunge and got an instagram account (my username is ladybirdlikes if you would like to follow me) so I will be using that to take all my photos.

Still very much obsessed with taking iphone photos! I find I use it where I wouldnt use a film camera, even if I have one with me. Sometimes I'm very aware of 'wasting' film photos by taking pictures of everyday things. I'm trying to get better at using my film cameras on a day to day basis, but it's so great always having my iphone to snap a quick shot on.

(these were all taken with the 'shake it' app which I love! I know lots of people rave about Instagram, but my poor old iphone 3G won't download it from the app store, so for now this is what I use!)

 It's no secret that I love my iphone big time.... I'm a total apple lover, and in addition to my iphone I own an iMac computer, a Mac notebook, and a iPod. And I desperately want an iPad to add to the family, although that won't be happening for a while! But I realised the other day that although I occasionally tweet photos from my iPhone, I don't ever blog them on here.... so I'm going to try and upload a few from my iPhone every couple of weeks or so, as I think they are quite nice insights into people's daily lives :) (oh, the notes under each set of pictures is clockwise from the top left photo)

my collection of books (the rows are three deep!), Jasper on one of our walks in the park, amazing clouds over my street, and a pencil sharpener that looks like a TLR camera.
