vintage stamp brooches

When I first opened my Etsy shop I listed some wooden brooches made using vintage stamps. They were hugely popular and sold out really quickly. I made more for my stalls at craft fairs, and again they sold out. I've FINALLY got around to making some more for my Etsy shop, and here they are! I kept one for myself too, and whenever I wear it I get so many compliments! If you want one you better be quick as I only have six of them at the moment....

I have quite the stamp collection, but unfortunately most of them are just kept in tins, where it's really hard to see them or find the one you're looking for. When making some mini notebooks a few weeks ago I had the idea to use some of the leftover paper scraps to make tiny notebooks to stick some of my favourite stamps in. I fell totally in love with them, and made dozens of them without knowing what to do with them. But then I had the brainwave to give one away free with every stamp brooch purchased. So if you'd like one of these tiny stamp albums for yourself then hot foot it over to my Etsy shop and buy a stamp brooch!

Totally going to make more of these mini stamp books to pop into packages for my penpals too. Anything in miniature makes me so happy!

  12. Love your vintage project. The stamps look so so gorgeous and cute. I was excited incredibly seeing the details and artistic possibilities of vintage stamp brooches. Thanks for the wonderful and elegant project that was totally amazing. Though my browsing story was to dive into some reviews on handmade brooches from Ireland, I was completely satisfied with the creative work you presented.
