Lazy Oaf Halloween (part 1)

as you already know, a few weeks ago I was asked to shoot a Halloween themed lookbook for the uber cool fashion brand Lazy Oaf. our inspiration came from 90s teen movies, in particular The Craft (which is one of my all-time favourite movies!) - we wanted it to be quite gothic, but without becoming too dark.

the team consisted of me photographing, Jerry styling the looks, and De modelling - we are definitely the dream team! the whole thing was shot in Abney Park Cemetery in Stoke Newington, which is such a beautiful location, and was perfect as it has an air of decay about it, yet is very light and bright and green. the photos below are the ones I shot using my digital SLR camera - I edited them afterwards in photoshop, and converted some to black and white....

these black glittered Underground creepers are coming to Lazy Oaf VERY soon - they are incredible in real-life, I'm definitely going to be getting myself a pair when they come in!

which look is your favourite? are there any pieces you will be purchasing from Lazy Oaf? check back soon as on Thursday I will be sharing the film photos from the shoot - I'm so in love with them, the lighting and all the greenery were so suited to being shot on film, I think they look even better than the digital ones!

  2. I really want the skull skirt. I'm not too crazy about the skull shirts even though I LOVE skulls (it's some weird obsession). Depending on how much shipping to the U.S costs it's definitely on my list.
