A month or so ago I contacted Katie from Skunkboy Creatures to see if she would be interested in featuring one of my jewellery pieces in one of her outfit posts on her blog. I have a major girl crush on Katie - her hair, her incredible collection of adorable dresses, her super cute family... okay, I will stop gushing now! Needless to say that when she replied and said she'd love to wear one of my butterfly necklaces, I was pretty much over the moon. Then, if I'm totally honest, I forgot all about it. Everything with the business got so busy, and it was pushed to the back of my mind. So I actually SCREAMED yesterday when I clicked on to Skunkboy Creatures and saw Katie, looking like an absolute babe, wearing the necklace I had sent her!

Another thing to tick off my list - seeing one of my style crushes wearing one of my pieces! Also, I cannot even believe how crazy August is set to be - next week I celebrate my birthday (I'm turning 26, eeep) but I'm also celebrating Ladybird Likes hitting the half a year mark. Six crazy months ago I started up this little old business. Next week is going to be a big week on the blog - I won't be around much but I have posts scheduled which include giveaways, special offers, freebies, and other exciting stuff!
