list 41: things I want to do this summer

Each season I like to make a list of things to do - I thought I'd share some of the things I'd like to do this summer. Not all are necessarily 'summery' things, but rather things I'd like to do in the next few months...

1. go on the Harry Potter studio tour (I wanted to do this on my actual birthday so I could say I spent my birthday at Hogwarts, but it was fully booked grrr)

2. make ice lollies in lots of different flavours and colours

3. go to the seaside at least once

4. get frozen yoghurt at Snog (my favourite fro yo place in London)

5. go on a craft picnic with some of my craft and blog friends

6. have a family BBQ with all my favourite foods (in my opinion no BBQ is complete without grilled prawns, halloumi, and barbequed pineapple)

7. visit a nature reserve and take my nature books to identify as many creatures and plants as possible

8. build a fort with Miss Phoebe and spend the day in it reading books and listening to records

9. go on a day trip with my BFF

10. swim in an outdoor pool

11. buy myself some pastel coloured jelly sandals

12. make flower crowns

13. organise my books and DVDs and try to get rid of some (books and DVDs are currently taking over my life - I have about 350 DVDs and about 500 books, so I definitely need to downsize my collections!)

14. do some crafting just for fun

15. get on a train to a countryside village, and spend a day on my own taking photographs and rummaging in charity shops

16. make some videos using my Lomokino

17. build an epic sandcastle

18. write letters to all my penpals

19. visit Little Venice

20. get back into the habit of taking photos every single day

Do you have any things you want to do this summer?

  8. A crafty picnic sounds like so much fun! If only the rain would stop for half a day so I could spend enough time outside to have one!
