brighton craftaganza part 2

Yesterday I shared some snaps from the Brighton Craftaganza fair I participated in, so today I thought I'd show you some photos I took whilst I was exploring Brighton. We arrived early Monday morning, had breakfast, and then went to set up straight away, so the only free time I had really was Monday evening after the fair finished for the day. We went for a meal at a super yummy Italian restaurant (I had aubergine lasagne, and a tricolor salad, but everything looked and smelt incredible) followed by a stroll along the seafront and ice creams.

you can never have too much bunting - especially in seaside towns

these brown brogues were from a charity shop and cost me £9 which is WAY more than I would ever normally spend on second hand shoes but they were brand new, and they are SO comfortable. I normally buy really cheap brogues from Primark as they are soft - the ones I've tried in Office rubbed my ankles at the back and made them bleed. I think I overly sensitive feet!

there's this shop on the beach in Brighton that sells shells and starfish, and I've always found it magical. When I was little I collected shells and things made from shells (I had some of those super tacky creatures with googly eyes on made entirely from shells which I wish I had kept!) and I think my obsession has continued into my adult life...

is it lame to admit that I actually found this really funny?

this is our hotel - it was really nice, very cheap, and the breakfast (which was included in the room price) was AMAZING. A huge buffet of cereal, toast, pastries, cooked breakfast, freshly made waffles and omlettes, and fresh fruit! I ate SO much.

we headed back to the hotel for an early night just as the sun began to go down - how could you ever  get tired of seeing this? maybe it's because I'm a born and bred city girl, but I think English seaside towns are some of the prettiest places in the world.
