Photoswap 2011

Way back in June (gosh, how is it nearly September already?!) I signed up to Rhianne's Photoswap 2011. I just missed out on the 2010 one, and resolved to participate in this one no matter what else was going on! And I'm so glad I did! My partner, Laura, took the most gorgeous photos of her home and everyday life in Ireland, I can't get over how beautiful they are. And she even sent me some boiled sweets that tasted like parma violets, which are the best things I've ever tasted!

Laura experimented so much with her Diana Mini, something I'm always scared to do, but after seeing her shots I'm definitely going to try some double exposures, and overlapping images, and moving that slider away from the square setting.... Here are my favourite shots from the roll....

I will blog my photos from the swap once Laura has shared them. I'm so excited to see how they came out - it was very hard for me to part with a roll of film I'd taken without getting it developed! Oh, and you can see more of the other photoswap photos from other participants in the Flickr group. Do go and check it out, there are so many beautiful shots over there, it's really inspiring and makes me so happy to see so many people shooting on film. Thank you Laura for being my partner, and for taking such wonderful photos - I'm very jealous of where you live, it looks so beautiful and peaceful xoxo
