east is eastbourne

Yup, it's another post about one of my seaside jaunts, this time to Eastbourne with my Ma. I haven't been to Eastbourne since I was a little girl, when my Nanny and Grandad would take me and my sisters for a long weekend. Since my Nanny passed away earlier this year, revisiting Eastbourne seemed like a nice way to remember just one of the amazingly kind things she did for me during her life. The day started with iced coffee and a long train journey, and ended with one of the yummiest fish and chips I've ever had. We also squeezed in some charity shop rummaging, ice cream eating, pier wandering, and seagull spotting. All in all a wonderful day, with pretty much the best Mama Bear I could ask for.

(ignore Tin Tin's slightly disturbing arm stump)

  1. Hahaha, loving the stump. Aww, I love days by the seaside (probably because that's every day for me). I'm glad you had a wonderful day and you took the nicest photos!

  2. Oh, I've never been there, I love your photos. I need to do a tour of the England coasts I think :)
