Paper Cranes

I always like to have a portable, fairly easy craft type project on the go that I can work on whilst watching movies, or on public transport. Over the Christmas holidays I made dozens of origami cranes from old sheet music and pages from an old photography textbook. Then I hung them from thread, and added masking tape pennants which I plan to write little messages on.

These are for a guerilla art project. I will write happy phrases on the pennants then hang them from tree branches and signposts around London for strangers to find. I also kept a few for myself which I made into a mobile for my bedroom. It's not up yet, but when it is I will take a few snaps and post them here.
