car boot buys
I thought I'd start making a semi-regular feature here on the blog sharing my car boot sale purchases as you all seemed to like my previous car boot sale post! I hit up one of my favourite local car boots last Sunday and didn't buy much (well, not much for a usual car boot visit!) but the things I did buy were pretty awesome!
check out that handmade tapestry bag - only £1! I can't imagine how long that must have taken to make. it's going to be my new crochet bag for storing my current crochet project in.
a piece of black quartz to add to my collection, a 1970s girl head ornament, a framed deer picture, a plastic apple ice bucket, an owl dish, an embroidered bird wall hanging, and that handmade tapestry bag. oh and not pictured, I also bought a Westie dog ceramic planter (which has since been planted up with some cacti), a pair of vintage brown leather buckle up shoes, a black and white striped jumper, and a set of vintage shot glasses for the boy-o. I think I spent about £20 total, including a mid-morning snack! oh I do love car boot sale season....

I have to admit that I don't know what a "car boot" sale is! Is it like a garage sale or flea market? You got some cute treasures at this last one.
ReplyDeleteAwesome finds! I haven't had much luck at car boot sales recently - the ones near me seem to be very hit and miss. I love it when you get a good haul of treasure though! xo
ReplyDeleteI need to start car-booting. These are excellent finds! x
