Renegade London

So as I write this post I am wriggling about in nervous anticipation, because I have some super exciting news to share with you guys! I am going to be a vendor at the Renegade Craft Fair in London! Now that may not sound that exciting to you right now, but let me fill you in on why I am such a ball of nervous excitement right now...

About five years ago I went to New York with my sister. While we were there we saw a poster advertising a craft fair in Brooklyn and decided to check it out (mostly because it was a really cool poster!)We went along and my mind was blown. There was so much talent in one abandoned swimming pool (it was held in an abandoned open-air pool!) and was so different from anything I'd seen before. I collected tons of business cards, and started looking at people's blogs and checking out their Etsy shops, and I knew instantly I wanted to be a part of this crafty 'gang.' The craft fair we went to was the Brooklyn branch of the Renegade Craft Fair.

Last year the first ever London Renegade came to town and I obviously had to pay a visit. It was just as awesome as I'd remembered, only this was happening in my city. It instantly became my ambition to have a stall at RCF one day, come what may. And now here I am, one year later, preparing for my own Renegade stall, and it's a bit surreal! There are going to be so many AMAZING designers and makers there - if you are in the area you would be crazy to miss this! Here are the details....

How ridiculously cool is the flyer? All the RCF artwork is created by Kate Sutton, who is so talented. She's also going to be at the fair selling her stuff. As will many of my online/real-life friends which is quite possibly the most exciting thing EVER. We are even booth neighbours with the awesome designosaurYEAH duo, who we first met in Brighton! If you come along you can see wonderful things by Hello Dodo, Magasin, Birds In Hats, Finest Imaginary, Art Equals Happy, Custom Made, plus TONS more artists, all of which can be found over here.
