notonthehighstreet

I don't think I've really spoken on here about notonthehighstreet.com.... Mainly because I've been focusing on promoting my Etsy shop as, unlike notonthehighstreet, Etsy don't do much promotion in the UK so I have been trying to push that more. But I thought I'd share a bit about my notonthehighstreet experience on here...

I was contacted by NOTHS in May, inviting me to join as a partner selling my items through their website. It was very flattering, as I know lots of people who have applied and been rejected, however I was still slightly unsure whether to take the plunge as my business was still relatively new, and I wasn't sure how well my stuff would sell. I'm happy to say that it has been an amazing experience - the NOTHS team are so helpful, and I've had really good sales which have been steadily improving each week!

And, even better, NOTHS just featured me in their most recent email which was focused on showcasing their new sellers. (you can see the full newsletter in all its glory right here) It's yet another 'first' to add to my ever-increasing list. Sometimes I worry that I sound too blase about the awesome things that have happened to me - in only 6 months I've been on the front page of Etsy twice, been in the retrotogo email, been in an Etsy email newsletter, been featured on the NOTHS homepage AND in one of their emails. It's more than I even dared to dream could happen, and I think I only half believe it's me it's happening to! This has been my dream for so many years, and now that it's actually happening it doesn't feel like it's actually real.

I'm just so incredibly thankful to every single person that has bought something from me, or who has supported me in any other way, by retweeting my tweets, by mentioning me on their blogs, by favouriting my Etsy shop, or passing my business card on to a friend. Thank you, from the bottom of my slightly overwhelmed heart.

(look, there's one of my butterflies, along with some other truly wonderful items! I feel like a proud mother seeing one of my little things in such an awesome email! and a massive thanks must be given to the super amazing Katie from oh squirrel who was kind enough to forward me a copy of the NOTHS email, and who is generally pretty awesome)
