typewriter key necklaces
I'm obsessed with typewriters - I have a bit of a collection of them going on, and wanted to make something inspired by them. I've seen people make jewellery from old typewriter keys, but couldn't bear the thought of breaking up a typewriter for its parts. So I am pleased to announce my newest jewellery pieces are typewriter key necklaces made from wood available in my Etsy shop! That's right, no typewriters were harmed in the making of these necklaces. They are made using photographs of vintage typewriter keys, which have been adhered to wood and laser cut.
The best part is you can choose whatever letter you'd like - maybe you'd like your own initial, or that of a loved one, or maybe even a pet? They make great personalised gifts too!
Of course I love any excuse to break out one of my vintage typewriters - I used my newest typewriter purchase (a kid's aqua typewriter) as a prop to style some of the necklaces - I love the way the black keys look against the green...
Hope you like these - I love showing off new products on here, and am so glad that everyone has been so supportive! You can buy a typewriter key necklace of your own in my Etsy shop.
