for a long time this wall in my studio, which I'd kept empty to create a mini art gallery on, was rather bare. not because I didn't have anything to put on it, but because I was waiting (rather impatiently) for my Dad to put some screws in the wall so I could get hanging my prints. after waiting six months, I finally realised I should just start sticking stuff up.
three hours and a whole lot of washi tape later, and this is the finished thing. I arranged the pieces roughly according to colour, because I'm really sad like that! but also because colour order makes me incredibly happy. I like that it's not just prints or artwork on the wall, but all sorts of random bits that inspire me. plus because it's just stuck on with washi tape I can easily swap pieces over to keep it new and fresh and inspiring.
my studio is almost finished - I have some clipboards to hang, plus a few shelves to put up. it's not quite the pinterest worthy craft haven I dreamed of. as the business has grown so rapidly there is very little space for pretty knick knacks - everything has to be functional and easy to get to. but I think I've managed to fit in some little bits of crafty cuteness (like this display wall.) I can't wait to share photos of the whole space - hopefully by the end of July it will FINALLY be ready (and tidy enough to photograph - I am literally the messiest worker ever!)
{these bits have been collected over a number of years, and some things I don't know where I got them from, but if you'd like to know where anything on my wall is from just ask in the comments section and I will try to remember!}
I love all these pieces and the way you hung them!! It looks perfect Zoe!! xo
